Retired from the UGA Extension Service after 31½ years, I have parlayed my interest in housing into a second career in real estate. I enjoy the interaction with people and assisting buyers & sellers with their real estate needs.
I operate a very diversified business with a high concentration in residential real estate. I work with people from all walks of life with different kinds of needs: first time home buyers, people moving up to a larger home, empty nesters ready to trade in a high maintenance house for one that requires less energy, investors, and new construction builders and developers.
I'm a Georgia native, retired from the University of Georgia Extension Service and I've been an Athens resident for 30 years. I received a BS degree and a Masters in Housing & Interiors, both from UGA. I was licensed as a REALTOR® in 1997 and since then have maintained my membership in the National, Georgia, and Athens Area Associations of REALTORs®. I have earned the designations of Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Previews Specialist, and have been certified through Coldwell Banker to help people relocating to and from the area as a Marketing Specialist and a Relocation Specialist. Since 2000 I have made the President's Circle every year, which is awarded to agents whose production is in the top 5% of agents internationally, and I'm an Active Life Member of the Million Dollar Club.
