Dru is a native Athenian. She attended local schools: Barrow Elementary, Clarke Middle School, and Clarke Central High School; she graduated from UGA with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is also a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
Dru's father, the late Charles L. Upchurch, II, began in the real estate business in 1958 and started Upchurch Realty in 1974. Her brother, Charles L. Upchurch, III, is presently the President/Broker of Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty - the largest real estate company in the Athens area with over 75 agents. Dru became a licensed real estate agent in 1983. Having grown up in Athens and being around the real estate profession all her life, Dru uses these advantages when selling newcomers to the Athens area. She enjoys being part of a team that offers the highest standards in the real estate profession when finding a home for client and customers.
