Diane Hand joined Coldwell Banker in 2006. She is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and her father is a native of Athens. She attended Queens College in Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated with a B.A. in Communications in 1987. She was a member of Phi Mu sorority. Diane has spent the last 17 years employed by Delta Airlines as a flight attendant. It is her love of meeting new people and helping to meet their needs that drew her into the field of real estate.
Currently, Diane is a member of the Athens Area Association of Realtors and a licensed agent in the state of Georgia.
A member of First United Methodist Church in Athens, she and her husband, Terry, reside in Oconee County with their daughters Sarah and Caroline who are students at Athens Academy. Her husband Terry is also with Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty in the commercial division.
Diane is very active in the community and feels that Athens is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. "Athens is continuing to grow and it is an intelligent choice for solid real estate investments," she states.
Besides meeting new people, Diane's favorite hobbies are playing tennis and snow skiing in Colorado.
