Ashleigh Baker has been a licensed Realtor® since 1996. Initially she worked with a small, independent real estate company in Watkinsville, Georgia and then had the opportunity to sell property in a gated golf community on Lake Oconee where property values ranged from $250,000 to over $3 million.
In March of 1999, Ashleigh joined the largest real estate company in Athens, Georgia - Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty. Within six months of joining Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty, she qualified for the Athens Area Association of Realtors® Million Dollar Club and has continued to do so each year since then.
In October, 2000, Ashleigh was selected as the only agent from Georgia to speak on a panel at the Coldwell Banker Southeastern Regional Brokers and Managers Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Ashleigh and the other four panelists discussed the different types of technology agents are currently using to better served their clients and how brokers can recruit younger agents into this profession.
In 2001 Ashleigh earned her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and GRI (Graduate, Realtors Institute) designations and plans to obtain her Associate Broker license this fall.
Ashleigh specializes in new construction sales. Not just because she is married to a top quality builder but because she actually enjoys and understands the entire home building process. She also enjoys the excitement of working with "first-time" homebuyers as well as introducing newcomers to the Athens area.
